Connor Golden Markum

Our little bundle of joy final arrived Dec. 21! He was 10lbs 5oz and 20in long. We were all very surprised with how big he was. But he is doing great and so am I. I started having labor pains Sat. morning and ended up going to the hospital are 4:30 Monday morning. He was born at 8:25 pm that evening.

1 week!

So I have a week till my due date. I went to the Dr. on Monday and I was not dilated at all. I was a little disappointed but I kind of figured that was where I would be because I really haven't had that many hard contractions. So now we are just playing the waiting game.

4 Weeks left

So here is another picture of me, this is at 36 weeks. I can't believe I only have 4 weeks left. Crazy how time flies. We are very excited for our little boy to come. I am feeling great, just really tired.

Blankets

My mom made some baby blankets for me and I love them. They turned out so cute! Thanks mom you are the best!



Now we just need to get our boy to like baseball!

My belly

So people have been asking to see pictures of my belly. I haven't really wanted to put any pictures up of it but I have gave in. So here is a picture at 30 weeks. Everything is going great. I feel good.

What's up

I have not posted in a long time. Things have been crazy lately. Let me begin with we moved into our apt. in Aug. We are still trying to get things organized though. I really hate moving! Then school started for Craig and he has been pretty busy with that. We were able to have a little weekend get away before school started and were able to go to the Denver and go to the temple and we went to Cirque Du Soleil. That was great! Here is the tent that the show was in. The show was amazing.

The next morning we went to the Denver zoo. This zoo is amazing. Here are some photos.




Things are going great with me. This past week has been tough though. Both Craig and I have been sick, but we are getting over the colds. I am now having Dr. apppointments every two weeks. Crazy how time flies! But we are excited for our little boy to be here!

Baby quilt

So I walked into the fabric store just to look around and I saw a blanket that was hanging up and I just loved it. I found fabric really quick and knew that I had to make one for our little guy! Here are some pictures. It is a rag quilt but in long strips.

Savannah's Wedding

One of my good friends got married this past weekend! I am so happy for Savannah and Evan! It was so glad to see her and her family. I haven't seen them for a long time. I just want to say congrats to Savannah and you were a very beautiful bride! I love you and wish you the best of luck! Here are some pictures.

How time flies

So today is our 2nd anniversary. Its crazy how fast time flies. It seems just like yesterday we got married. These past two years have been the greatest! Craig is a wonderful husband and I would be lost without him! I am so thankful for him and everything he does. He makes me so happy and he always knows how to make me smile! He is going to be a great father.

We found out today that we are having a BOY!!!! We are very excited!

July fun

We were able to go to a couple of Rockies games this month. The first one we went to was over the 4th. They do a great fireworks show after the game. (That is my favorite part of the game!)Then the following weekend one of Craigs mission companions invited to go to a game with them. Other than that we really haven't done anyting too exciting. Craig has been busy working and playing softball, which ended last night for them because they got beat out of the tourney. And I have been working with the school district.

Some exciting news, we get to find out what we are having on Tuesday! We are really excited.

June Happenings

Let me start with that we bought a car. It is a 2005 Trailblazer. We got it for a great deal and since Craig's lease is up on his truck in Aug. We figured it would be a good time to get a family car.

Over Father's day weekend we went up to the mountains for a little cook out. It was really fun and nice. Here are a couple of pictures of Craig and our nephews.



I went to Knoxville, Tennessee for a night to go to the National Conference for Family and Consumer Sciences. For my Flat Pattern class we had to summit our designs to be shown there. 7 of us from that class got chosen to show our garments. My teacher, me and another student were able to go. It was a quick trip. Tennessee was very beautiful and HOT!!
Other then that not much has been happening. I am feeling very good. I am surprised I haven't been sick, but I am not complaining. I am still wearing my normal clothes. But I think in the next couple of weeks that will change. Hopefully we will find out what we are having either this next appointment or the one after that!

Work, school, and....

Well both Craig and I graduated this year. Craig will actually be done with his second bachelors degree which is in chemistry, in August. He had to take the second half of Spanish this summer. (Which he hates) He is working in a Chemistry lab on campus this summer and for the next two years he will be working on his masters degree in science education. Half of his classes will be in Education and the other half will be in Chemistry. He also works for the local newspaper and fills machines and has a driving paper route that he will continue to do.
As for me I am enjoying my free time. I still work for the school district as a bus aide. School will be done June 3. Then I plan to help with summer school. I also work for the city as a scorekeeper for city league softball at night. I really enjoy it except that it gets cold at night. But it is nice because Craig plays so I get to watch him and get paid for it! I plan to work for the school district through December.
We are also moving to an apartment in August. Craig's sister and her family moved back for Graduate school and are going to be living in the house. For now we are all living together till we are able to move out.
And now for the the big news! We are going to have a baby!!!! I am 11 weeks along and my due date is Dec. 15. We are very excited and nervous for whats to come!

Graduation and my coat

It's official, I am a graduate! It is crazy to be done. I am not quite sure what to do with myself. My parents and sister and her kids were able to come down and spend the weekend with us. It was great. We had fun.
For my last sewing class (Fiber Arts) we have to make a coat, using at least four different tech. that we had learned in class. For my coat I did twin needle, beading, machine embroidery, and painted my lining. I was very excited how good my coat turned out. I looked forward to wearing it. It will be on display at the American Heritage Center all summer. We had to name our coat and I named mine My Happy Ending.

Spring Break

It has been awhile since I have posted anything. Well not much has been going on beside school and this past week has been our spring break. It has been super nice not having school or work! We really didn't do too much over the break. At the beginning of the week we went to Salt Lake to stay with Craig's brother and his family. His sister from Houston was there and so was Craig's other brother who lives in Mtn. View. We stayed there friday night and hung out Sat. till 4 and then headed to Mtn. View for my friend's wedding. It was great seeing all my friends from high school. My parents and my sister come home from Vegas on Sunday night and we hung out with them. We came home on Monday, it was a quick trip but really fun.
Today I was able to see my sister in law, Erica and my niece Alayna! She is so cute!

This is our other nephew Blake, he is from Houston and loves the snow, that is one reason why they came up, so he could take skiing lessons. The girl is Aubrianna, Camden's sister.

1. I love to sew, crochet and be crafty.
2. I will graduate this may and I am super excited.
3. I am excited to go to South Africa.
4. I hate when food on my plate touches other food. I also have to eat all of one kind of food at a time and work around the plate.

6. I am thankful for Craig. He always makes me laugh, and I love him so much!

12. My birthday is Sept. 11 and I will always remember my 15th birthday like it was yesterday.
13. I love to buy clothes but my real weaknesses are shoes and earrings.
14. The Little Mermaid is my all time favorite Disney movie.
15. I love to play Tripoley( thank you Randy and Ashley Luck).
16. I am addicted to blogging!
18. When I was a junior in high school my parents took me and my friend Savannah to Hawaii! To this day my brother Phillip is still upset about it.

21. One thing that drives me crazy is when you go to check out at the self checkout and the person in front of you is trying to check out produce!
22. I love popcorn, especially pour over cheddar.

Christmas, Nativity set, and Noah's Ark!

Our Christmas was great! Craig and I spent Christmas in Laramie. It was just us two but we had fun! We really didn't know what we wanted for Christmas so we bought ourselves a ipod touch. We got a few movies and games and that was it. It was very nice. We went up to Riverton and Worland the 28th. We were able to see the new baby Paxton! He is a cutie! Then we went up to Worland and stayed with Kyla and Kelly till Tuesday. We had fun with them. Ashlyn and Jace were sick but we still had fun with them. Then Tuesday we headed to Mtn. View for friends reception. Then came home Wednesday! It was a quick trip but we had fun! For New Years we played games with my brother Phillip and the Lucks. We had so much fun ringing in the New Year.
So Craig parents sent us a Nativity Set from South Africa on Nov.4 and I have been waiting for it to come. I was hoping it would be here for Christmas but it didn't show up. After 2 months of waiting it showed up today! I am so happy. They also sent a Noah's ark set, it is so cool.
