Our life lately

I can’t believe it’s almost August. Crazy how time flies. Well Ragen is now a month old. She is so fun. She really is a good baby, the past few day she has slept through the night. It is wonderful. She is a cuddlier; she hates it when you put her down. But she usually will settle down after awhile. Connor loves her. He tries to play with her and hand her cars. He likes to hold and tell her stories. It is so cute. Connor was able to do swim lessons a week ago. Dad got to do them with him; they had a lot of fun. Connor is growing up so fast. He is quite the little boy, keeps me on my toes. He loves to be outside and loves to slide at the park. We were able to go to Laramie the last weekend in June for our friend’s wedding, Craig was the best man. Then just last weekend we headed back to Laramie for Craig’s ten year reunion. I must say it was a little weird being at someone else’s high school reunion but Craig had fun. We are excited to go to my family reunion the end of this month. I am very excited to see my family. Markum happenings

Well things are finally getting back to normal here. The kids are great. Connor loves his sister. But he does have his good days and bad. He loves going to the park and the pool. He loves to be outside but it has been so hot here lately that he probably doesn't get enough time outside. Ragen is great, she had a doctors app. today and she weighs 9.7. She is a good baby. She usually only gets up once during the night and she has actually slept through the night twice. She really only cries when she is hungry. She loves to cuddle. We love our two little ones so much and are so happy they are in our family.

Thursday June, 7 I went into to be induced that night. They placed a tablet in my cervix and then I didn't get started with pitocin till 10 the next morning. They broke my water around noon and I was only 4 then. I had to wait for the epidural till about 2. They finished with the epidural probably around 2:20 or so and checked me and I was a 6. Craig thinking that it might take a little while decided to go get lunch. Not even ten min. later I was feeling so much pressure. They decided to check me again and I was ready to go. So I call Craig and twenty min. later Ragen was born at 2:52 weighting in at 8lbs 5oz and 21in long. Connor loves his little sister. He has to take baths with her. He is always asking where she is and if she is ok. Craig and I feel so blessed to have her in our family. One week old

Its been awhile

So we have been keeping busy. The last weekend in April we went to a Rockies game. It was fun and Connor enjoyed running around the stadium. It was nice too because the Mets won and that is Craig's favorite team. Then the first weekend in May we went to Laramie for a baby shower for me and a baby blessing for my new niece Brylen, who is so beautiful. It was so nice to see everyone. Connor enjoyed playing with his cousins. I am almost 36 weeks and getting big. I am getting very excited to be done and have this little girl be here. I am very swollen this time around and can't wait to have my hands and feet back to normal. I have an ultrasound next Friday and from there we will set a date for me to be induced unless this little girl is small but with Connor being so big I don't think she will be too small. They don't want me to have a big baby again so we will probably be having this baby at 39 weeks. Connor is being a crazy little boy. He keeps me on my toes. I am hoping he will be ok when the baby comes but not sure how he will handle it. The first few months will be interesting. On May 8 My dear sweet grandma passed away. She was an amazing woman and I am so grateful for her and everything she did. I wasn't able to travel to the funeral and that was very difficult for me but I know she understands. I know she is so happy right now with my dear grandpa. I love her and will miss her so much, but know I will see her again.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter, my parents came up on Thursday and stayed till Sunday. It was so wonderful to see them. Connor had so much fun with them. We stayed pretty busy those few days, doing yard work, getting Connor's room ready downstairs for him when the baby comes, and doing sewing projects for the baby. Connor had so much fun coloring eggs and doing a couple of egg hunts. The Easter bunny was very nice to him and gave him Cars 2, a couple cars from the movie and a sticker/coloring book of Cars. He has been wanting to watch the movie nonstop since he got it. We moved Connor's big boy bed upstairs for him to get used to it and he has gone great. He sleeps in it all night and never gets out till morning. We will see if that stays the same over the next few weeks. We have to put him in the crib to nap though becasuse he won't stay in the other one. Everything else is going good. I am now 30 weeks and actually feeling way good, besides that I have a big belly. I am hoping that I only have 9 weeks left, my docters keep telling me they will induce me a week early so we will see.

Update

Well not much has been going on with us. I have been busy making things for the little girl. But I had to take a break because my friend from the ward asked me to make bride maids skirts for her sisters wedding. I was way nervous to make them because I really have only made clothes for me. But all they wanted was a simple aline skirt. Now I just hope they fit every one. I had to make four of them and I know one fits good because that is for my friend. But the other three I am just praying they work.

I am feeling better, just always tired. I will be 27 weeks Friday and I am huge. I don't know what I am going to look like in a couple months. As for everyone else, Craig is still enjoying work and loves to come home and play with Connor. Connor gets so excited when his dad gets home. It was been so nice lately so Connor and I go outside a lot. Connor loves to walk around the block and shoot baskets. Last weekend I experienced my first hockey game. We were able to go the Colorado Avs game. It was really fun, but of course I forgot my camera.
