Connor and Ragen

Connor has turned into quite the chatter box. He amazes me very day with the new things he learns to says. He is so fun and keeps me busy. He loves to play chase, swords, and with his cars. Right now his favorite cartoons are Dinosaur Train and Clifford the Big Red Dog. He just loves his dad, he gets so excited when Craig gets home from work. He will tell you his name (which sounds like tonnor), and he as been working at holding up two fingers and walking around the house saying two. One of me favorite things he says right now is knock knock its me. He is a good big brother. He is really nice to Ragen so far. Hopefully that won't change. Ragen is now 3 months. She is so fun. She loves to watch Connor, especially when he is playing with dad. She has the biggest and pretty smile. She is starting giggle more and coo more. She really is a good baby. She sleeps through the night still, which I love. She really only gets mad if she is hungry. We love our two kiddos so much. Blessing and 2 months

So our little Ragen turned 2 months. She is weighing in at 13.2lbs and 23 3/4in long. She is so much fun. She is smiling all the time and Craig has got her to giggle. It is so cute. She loves to watch Connor. Connor loves to tickle and talk to her and she will just smile back at him. She really is a good baby, she has been sleeping through the night for the past month. I love it. On Aug. 12 we had her blessing. Craig did such a good job and we are so thankful for all the family and friends that came over. My mom made her beautiful blessing dress. It was a great day. Yesterday we were able to go to Lake McCaughey with Craig's family. It was so nice and fun. The beach is beautiful and the sand is so soft. Connor had so much fun playing in water, sand and with his cousins. We want to go back and rent jet ski's and maybe enough a cabin and spend a few days there having fun on the lake. Other then that we really haven't done too much. We are excited for college football to start. We have are season tickets for the Cowboys and can't wait till the first game. There are a lot of pictures, the first few are of Ragen and family that we took after her blessing. Then the other are of Connor playing on the beach. He liked being buried in the sand.

I finally caught Ragen smiling on camera. So I thought I would share it. Also today is our 5th year Anniversary. I am so blessed to have married my best friend. Craig is an amazing father and husband. I love him so much and look forward to the years to come.

Our life lately

I can’t believe it’s almost August. Crazy how time flies. Well Ragen is now a month old. She is so fun. She really is a good baby, the past few day she has slept through the night. It is wonderful. She is a cuddlier; she hates it when you put her down. But she usually will settle down after awhile. Connor loves her. He tries to play with her and hand her cars. He likes to hold and tell her stories. It is so cute. Connor was able to do swim lessons a week ago. Dad got to do them with him; they had a lot of fun. Connor is growing up so fast. He is quite the little boy, keeps me on my toes. He loves to be outside and loves to slide at the park. We were able to go to Laramie the last weekend in June for our friend’s wedding, Craig was the best man. Then just last weekend we headed back to Laramie for Craig’s ten year reunion. I must say it was a little weird being at someone else’s high school reunion but Craig had fun. We are excited to go to my family reunion the end of this month. I am very excited to see my family. Markum happenings

Well things are finally getting back to normal here. The kids are great. Connor loves his sister. But he does have his good days and bad. He loves going to the park and the pool. He loves to be outside but it has been so hot here lately that he probably doesn't get enough time outside. Ragen is great, she had a doctors app. today and she weighs 9.7. She is a good baby. She usually only gets up once during the night and she has actually slept through the night twice. She really only cries when she is hungry. She loves to cuddle. We love our two little ones so much and are so happy they are in our family.

Ragen Ilene Markum

Thursday June, 7 I went into to be induced that night. They placed a tablet in my cervix and then I didn't get started with pitocin till 10 the next morning. They broke my water around noon and I was only 4 then. I had to wait for the epidural till about 2. They finished with the epidural probably around 2:20 or so and checked me and I was a 6. Craig thinking that it might take a little while decided to go get lunch. Not even ten min. later I was feeling so much pressure. They decided to check me again and I was ready to go. So I call Craig and twenty min. later Ragen was born at 2:52 weighting in at 8lbs 5oz and 21in long. Connor loves his little sister. He has to take baths with her. He is always asking where she is and if she is ok. Craig and I feel so blessed to have her in our family. One week old
