Halloween and other things

I can't believe that it is November already. We really haven't been up too much stuff lately. The library started story time the beginning of Oct. and we enjoy going to that every Wednesday. We have had two snow storms but the snow has melted pretty quick. The first storm was pretty heavy snow and it broke branched off our tree in our backyard. Halloween was fun. He had fun helping dad carve the pumpkin but didn't care for the pumpkin guts to get on him. Connor didn't want to dress up. He was suppose to be a gnome but he didn't like that idea. Then I tried to a few other ideas till he finally let me put on a baseball shirt and he was happy to carry his bat and ball. We did the downtown trick or treating then went to a few of our neighbor's houses. We were told to be prepared for trick or treaters, our neighborhood is the popular place for Halloween. We got over 100 trick or treaters, it was crazy. Connor loved it when the kids came to the door, many times he ran out the door and wanted to go with them. We were able to do the Denver Zoo on the free day. It was a mad house but we had fun. We went with some friends and was a beautiful day. Connor loved all the animals. The movie at the bottom is of a house down the street that goes all out for holidays. You can't see all of the decorations because its dark, there are some scary creatures. Also there was a lot of songs that played too. Sorry that the video goes in and out of focus, our camera is the greatest. We are tolded that Christmas is even more crazy.
Connor is getting better about letting me take pictures of him. Sorry about the tv in the back round

Here are a couple of pictures of our tree mess

September

This month has been a busy one for us. Craig and I celebrated our birthdays. Which were both great. We have been going to Laramie every weekend for football games. And Connor and I were able to spend a week at my parents house and then we were able to go to my cousin's wedding up in Worland. While is Worland we were able to see my grandma, and other family that we hadn't seen for awhile. It was good and the wedding was very nice. Connor had so much fun playing with his cousins. And he loved dancing at the reception.
While I was at my parents house I was able to make a couple of tshirt quilts. I have been wanting to make them for awhile but just haven't, so it was nice of my mom to help me with them.

Connor, Paden and Paxton had fun playing together

Hello there

Well its been awhile. I can't believe its Sept. already. We had a good summer this year. But we are very excited for the fall, especially because of college football. Well lets start with Connor, he is now 20 months. He is starting to say more words, and getting better with nursery. He is so much fun. He keeps me on my toes.
We were able to do some fun things during Aug. My mom came up for a weekend and that same weekend Erica and Alayna came over and saw us too. Connor had so much fun playing with Alayna. We also went to the Scottsbluff Zoo with our friends that live there. Its pretty small but has a very nice splash pad. Connor had fun.
Craig is liking his job very well. And I am staying busy with reading books and sewing projects. We went to the first home football game of the Cowboys last weekend. It was fun and it was good to get a win. We are excited for the rest of the games this year.

Our Summer so far

I can't believe that July is almost over. Summer has flown by. We really haven't done too much. Still getting settled from our move. We were able to travel up to my sister's for my niece's baby blessing over the 4th. It was so fun to get out and see family. We had a fun time and I know Connor had a fun time with his cousins.
Connor and I did swim lessons last week. It was fun. Connor loves to be in the water. And it was a nice cool down from the heat. Connor is now 19 months, crazy. He is so much fun. He is starting to say more words, I think is favorite word right now is thank you. He says it all the time. He has been having hard time with nursery, but slowly getting better. The other night we were outside and he decided to take me on a walk and guess where he took me, to the park. It was crazy, I just followed him and he knew where he was going. It was a fun and I am sure it won't be the first time.
We finally closed on our close here in Kimball. I am so glad that it is finally ours. Craig really likes his job. Connor gets so excited when he gets home from work, it is so cute.
Here is Connor's newest cousin Brinley, she is so cute

Connor had so much fun with Ashlyn and Jace. He loved the Tramp.

Here we are at swim lessons

Last night we let Connor eat a pudding and as you can see he loved it.

Our new home

Here is our home. sorry for the weird angle we have two big trees in our front yard so I couldn't get a good view of the front of the house.

Our backyard

So its been awhile. The last few weeks have been crazy. We moved into our new home the last weekend in May. We our loving our new house. Kimball is a small town but we are getting use to it. We really miss Laramie and our friends and family, but we are starting to get to know people from our ward so its getting better. Besides moving we haven't really been up to too much. We are exciting that we have buyers for our house in Laramie. We are planning on closing on that house the end of this month and then we will close on our house in Kimball.
Connor turned 18 months. He went to nursery for the first time last Sunday. He did great. We had to go in there for a little while but other than that he did so good. Craig and I are so excited for nursery! At his doctors app. Connor weighed 24lbs. He is getting so big. He loves to be outside. We play in our backyard all the time. Kimball has a outdoor pool that we plan on going to this summer. Connor and I will be doing a parent/child swim lesson class in July. Craig is liking his new job. And I am enjoying being home with Connor.
